I have started a new work contract which doesn’t give me much time for felting. I am so tired spending the day on the computer that all I want to do when I get home is sit in the back garden with a glass of wine and the hubs and dogs. We have plenty of daylight these days, but working sucks the life out of me. I have to save felting for the weekends for the time being. I managed to make something last weekend which only took a day (I did things in-between felting). I had some leftover fringes from my rather large fine felted shawl in ocean colors, so I just made a smaller one.
This is the reverse. The scarf is extra fine merino wool sandwiched between viscose. I made it the same way as the previous one. It is just half the size. The curve in the neckline means you have less bulk in that area.
As you can see, the scarf is reversible and can be worn many ways. It is very light, soft, flexible and warm. It is still a bit chilly here in the UK, so it is good to wear now. I have this one available for sale. Please contact me for more information.
